The Blame Game

WHOSE FAULT IS ALL THIS?

It seems like when we face a difficult situation, suffering, injustice or trial, we are always quick to look where to place the blame. And boy, can we spin off on that, so much that the blame becomes the subject. (Any resemblance to life every day all day on the news and social media is not mere coincidence but human nature in all its glory, or should I say, its gory?!)

While there is a place for accountability, both here and now and when we stand before the throne of God, our focus through all things should be one and the same- God’s glory and His eternal purposes. He has chosen you and me to carry on His works.

Have you gotten distracted?
It is yet day, and it’s time for us (Yes, you too!) to be actively and consciously shining His light each and every day and in every possible situation- at home, out and about and in cybernetic conversations.
Do people (even those closest to you, or rather, especially them) see Jesus in you and want more? Shine, Jesus, shine!

And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. (John 9: 2-5)
