One of the big buzz words of the last couple of years is intolerance. It has become the go-to word for people that not only manifest different convictions, speech and lifestyle but also want everyone around them to accept them unconditionally. When what they stand for is contrary to the principles God has clearly established as eternal truths, it can be very difficult, but even then, we can accept and love the person as seeing them through the eyes of God who desires that all be reconciled to him. However, they don’t stop there. They want you to accept THEM, accept their PERSPECTIVE, and SAY THAT YOU AGREE that they are right. If you don’t, it doesn’t matter if you are quiet and respectful about it, you are an intolerant hater, and boy will you hear about it. And somehow their rights are way trumped over yours in social media, politics, and court.
Jesus said, if they hate you know that they hated me first. If you want to follow Christ and worship Him with your life, settle this in your heart today. You are not out to please anyone except Him, and His standard is the only true standard. So, shake off the pressure to conform to all the world is saying around you. That is not you! Jesus said we are IN the world but not OF the world. Jesus came as the light of the world, and once he lives in you, you are light in the world. When we are continually in God’s truth and His presence, our thinking does not get adapted to the world, but rather God’s thinking replaces our thinking, so He is seen in us.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. (Ro.12:2)

Prayer: Recognize God’s sovereignty and His truth as the only standard for life. Ask Him to teach you and help you exchange all faulty thinking for the truth.
Día 2- ¿Estas siendo conformado o transformado? Una de las palabras mas populares en estos años es intolerante. Ha llegado a ser la palabra usual para las personas que no solo manifiestan diferentes convicciones, discurso, y estilo de vida, pero además quieren que todos en su derredor les acepten incondicionalmente. Cuando su postura es contraria a los principios que Dios ha establecido claramente como verdades eternas, puede ser muy difícil. Pero, aun así, podemos aceptar y amar a la persona como viendo a través de los ojos de Dios quien desea que todos sean reconciliados a él. No obstante, no se detienen con eso. Quieren que les aceptes A ELLOS, aceptes su PERSPECTIVA, y DIGAS ESTAR DE ACUERDO que tienen la razón. Si no lo haces, no importa que seas callado y respetuoso, para ellos eres un odiador intolerante, y seguro que te lo harán saber a gritos. Y de alguna forma, los derechos suyos tienen prioridad sobre los tuyos en los medios sociales, la política y la corte.
Jesús dijo, si les odian a ustedes sepan que me odiaron primero a mí. Si quieres seguir a Cristo y adorarlo con tu vida, resuelve esto en tu corazón hoy, No estás para agradar a nadie sino a El, y Su estándar es la única verdadero estándar. Así que, sacúdete de la presión a conformar a todo lo que el mundo dice alrededor. ¡Tú no eres eso! Jesús dijo que estamos EN el mundo, pero no DEL mundo. Jesús vino como la Luz del mundo, y una vez que viva en ti, tú eres luz en el mundo. Cuando estamos continuamente en la verdad y la presencia de Dios, nuestro pensamiento no se adapta al mundo, antes bien, el pensamiento de Dios reemplaza nuestro pensamiento, y él se ve en nosotros.
“No se conformen a este mundo; más bien, transfórmense por la renovación de su entendimiento de modo que comprueben cuál sea la voluntad de Dios, buena, agradable y perfecta.” (Ro.12:2)

Orar: Reconoce la soberanía de Dios y su verdad como el único estándar de la vida. Pidele que te enseñe y te ayude a cambiar tu pensamiento fallido por la verdad.
